Members of PAAZAB recognize the need to establish and implement an OPERATIONAL STANDARD to regulate and improve the professional standards under which they operate.
Compliance with the PAAZAB Operational Standard is a mandatory requirement of Institutional Membership to PAAZAB as stated in clause 10.2.4 of the PAAZAB Constitution.
The PAAZAB Operational Standard of 2008 is based upon the South African Code of Member Facility and Aquarium Practice (SANS 10379 of 2004).
